Announcement LCD-VF review

Announcement LCD-VF review

If your camera doesn't have a (electronic) viewfinder, or if you use LIveview on a SLR, you will use the LCD at the back of the camera for focussing and choosing your composition. In a bright or disturbing environment this can be difficult. The LCD-VF will help you there.

Announcement Sony 50 mm 1.8 review

Announcement Sony 50 mm 1.8 review

Lenses wth a fixed focal length remain very poular. The Sony 50 mm 1.8 lens is designed for camera's with an APS-C sensor, so the viewing angle of this lens matches the viewing angle of a 75 mm lens on a camera with a full frame sensor. The Sony 50 mm 1.8 is a lens with a wide aperture, and an attractive price. Perhaps you're interested to see how it performs in comparison with the Sony 16-50 mm zoom lens?

Themadag portretlenzen

Announcement Review Sony DT 16-50 mm 2.8 zoomlens

Announcement Sony 16-50 mm review

The Sony 16-50 mm zoom lens has entered the Dutch market with the Sony A77 at the end of 2011. This lens is relatively compact for an SLR lens with a 2.8 aperture. The Sony DT 16-50 mm lens has an internal "Supersonic Wave" engine, which focuses fast and quietly, allowing you to use the lens for video too. Read our Sony 16-50 mm review to see how well it performs

Profotonet ProfotoAlbum review

Profotonet ProfotoAlbum review

We are testing right now more than 15 photo books and we improved our mode of testing photo books a bit. The test report of the first photo book serie 2012, Profotonet ProfotoAlbum, is ready and soon the score will be visible in our big overall table.

Profotonet started to use photo paper many years ago and now we see some other manufactures use this paper too.

Annoncement Review Panasonic G3

Panasonic G3 review

Did Panasonic succeed to introduce a really better camera than the Panasonic G2, which was introduced less than a year before the introduction of the Panasonic G3? The Panasonic G3 targets a wide range of photographers; the camera will appeal both novice and advanced photographers and furthermore has good video capabilities.

review Canon Platinum fotopapier

Canon Pro Platinum fotopapier getest met een Canon PIXMA PRO-1

We used a Canon PIXMA PRO-1 to review Canon Pro Platinum photo paper. It is a fairly heavy paper and due to the Gloss Optimiser we didn't see much gloss differential or bronzing. The Canon Pro Platinum photo paper is an amazing nice paper and we liked the high gloss.

Review Nikon 30-110

Nikon 30-110 review / Nikon 1

The Nikon 30-110 mm zoom arrived late september 2011, as 1 out of e series of  4 lenses for the new Nikon 1 series. Within the lenses on offer for the Nikon 1 systen, the Nikon 30-110 mm / NIKKOR 30-110mm f/3.8 – 5.6 VR offers the longest focal length. This compact and cheap lens offers a good performance. If you compare the resolution of the Nikon 30-110 mm with lenses mounted on cameras with an aps-C sensor, this Nikon lens ends up somewhere in the middle.

Announcement review Panasonic 14-140 zoomlens

Announcement: Panasonic 14-140 mm zoomlens review

The Panasonic 14-140 mm was issued halfway 2009, as one of the first lenses for micro-43 camera's. The Panasonic 14-140 mm couples a 10 x zoomrange with an almost silent autofocus, which make this lens a good choice for video. But it's an equally good choice for a photographer who wishes to change lenses as least as possible. It has image stabilization and shows a good optical performance over a large part of the zoomrange.
